Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These terms explain how you may use AussieCitizen, what we provide, and how billing works.
1. Who you are contracting with
These terms are an agreement between you and George jackson Minj ("we", "us"), the provider of the AussieCitizen study platform, trading as AussieCitizen. You can reach us at support@aussiecitizen.com.
AussieCitizen is an independent educational preparation platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs, and it is not a substitute for official government material or advice.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you are using AussieCitizen on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter this agreement.
You must give accurate account information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights
- interfere with security, probe or scan our systems, upload malware, or scrape content in bulk
- resell, redistribute, or publish our question bank or study content
- reverse engineer the service or circumvent plan limits or technical restrictions
4. AI Study Coach
Premium includes an AI Study Coach that explains study content and your mistakes. Its answers are generated automatically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and must be verified against official government sources before you rely on them.
The coach does not provide immigration, legal, financial or migration-agent advice and will refuse such requests. You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use the outputs, and for having the rights to any content you submit.
We may filter, refuse, or moderate prompts and outputs, and may remove content or suspend accounts for prohibited use (including attempts to generate illegal, hateful, deceptive, or infringing content, or to jailbreak the model).
5. Licence and intellectual property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use AussieCitizen for your own study within the plan you have selected. We retain all rights in the platform, its software, branding and study content.
You keep ownership of the content you submit and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.
6. Service availability
We work to keep AussieCitizen available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Payment, billing and refunds
Prices, renewal, cancellation and plan limits are described in our Subscription Terms, and refunds in our Refund Policy.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. We never receive or store your card details.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
If your paid access ends, your account returns to the Free plan and your study history, results, bookmarks, XP and achievements are retained.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss including lost profits, data or goodwill. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the revised version here.
