How practice mode works
Choose a set size — 10, 20, 30 or 50 questions — then filter by topic, difficulty or by questions you have not yet seen. Answer a question and the correct option, a plain-English explanation and the reference behind it appear immediately.
Every answer is recorded, so the platform can steer later sets towards the topics where your accuracy is lowest and the questions you previously got wrong.
Make practice actually stick
- Read the explanation even when you answered correctly — guessing right is not knowing.
- Bookmark anything you had to think twice about and revisit it the next day.
- Practise Australian Values separately; those questions allow no mistakes.
- Alternate practice sets with a timed mock test roughly once a week.
- Use the read-aloud player if you prefer listening, or study on a commute.
Reading before you practise
Practice works best on top of the source material. The official citizenship resource booklet is free to read and is the basis of the real test.
